2023 ATP Schedule

The ATP Tour has released the schedule for the 2023 tennis season, which includes details of over 60 ATP tournaments that will be held in 2023.

The biggest change to the 2023 ATP Calander was the expansion of the Masters 1000 tournaments in Rome, Madrid, and Shanghai from tournaments with a 56 singles draw played over eight days to tournaments with a 96 singles draw played over 12 days.

The Masters 1000 tournaments in Canada and Cincinnati will also be expanded but this will not happen until 2025.

2023 also saw the introduction of the United Cup, which is a combined men’s and women’s event, where players compete for their country.

How many Masters 1000 events are there?

Nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments were scheduled for the 2023 tennis season with the first being played in Indian Wells in March and the last being played in Paris at the end of October. 2023 also saw the return of the Shanghai Masters to the ATP Calendar for the first time since 2019.

What Exhibition Tournaments are Planned for 2023?

The Kooyong Classic was played in Melbourne, Australia from the 10th to the 12th of January 2023. Other exhibition tournaments that are expected to return in 2023 include the Hopman Cup, the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, and the Macau Tennis Masters.
