2023 Denis Shapovalov Schedule
Denis Shapovalov’s next tournament and match will likely be at the Shanghai Masters which is scheduled to take place from the 4th to the 15th of October 2023.
Denis was also due to play in the US Open (28 August – 10 September 2023) but he was forced to pull out of the event so he could give more time to heal a knee injury.

January 2023
Denis’s first tournament of the year was the Adelaide International, where he lost to Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals (3-6, 4-6).
At the 2023 Australian Open, Denis defeated Dusan Lajovic (6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-1), then Taro Daniel (6-3, 7-6, 7-5), before losing to Hubert Hurkacz in the third round (6-7, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, 3-6) in a tight five set match.

February 2023
Shapovalov played in three tournaments in February (Dallas, Delray Beach, and Acapulco), losing in the second round of each tournament.

Denis played in both of the Masters 1000 tournaments in March, losing to Ugo Humbert (5-7, 4-6) in the second round at Indian Wells, and losing to Taylor Fritz (4-6, 4-6) in the third round in Miami.
