Iasi Open Tennis Tournaments

Iasi is a city in eastern Romania and in July 2023 it hosted an ATP challenger and a WTA 125 tennis tournament.

The ATP challenger competition is called the Concord Iasi Open while the WTA 125 competition is called the BCR Iasi Open.

Dates

The ATP Challenger 100 tournament (Concord Open) was held from the 10th to the 16th of July 2023 while the WTA 125 tournament (BCR Open) was held from the 17th to the 23rd of July 2023.

The ATP Iasi tennis tournament was played in the same week as the tournaments in London, Contrexeville, Chicago, and Bastad.

The WTA Iasi tennis tournament was played in the same week as the tournaments in Palermo, Budapest, Nice, Newport, and Gstaad.

In the Men’s Doubles tournament, Nicolás Barrientos and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi beat Gabi Adrian Boitan and Bogdan Pavel in the final 6-3, 6-3.

2023 BCR Iasi Open

Ana Bogdan won the 2023 women’s singles tournament beating Irina-Camelia Begu in an all Romanian final 6–2, 6–3.

In the women’s doubles tournament, Veronika Erjavec and Dalila Jakupović defeated Irina Bara and Monica Niculescu in the 2023 doubles final 6–4, 6–4.
