The first WTA 250 tournament of the 2022 season was in Melbourne, Australia with Simona Halep beating Veronika Kudermetova 6–2, 6–3 in the final of the Melbourne Summer Set 1 tournament.

The First Grand Slam Title of the year was won by Ashleigh Barty after she beat Danielle Collins 6-3, 7-6 in the 2022 Australian Open Singles Final.

When is the next Major/Grand Slam Tournament in Women’s Tennis?

The next major/grand slam tournament in women’s tennis will be the French Open which will be played at Rolland Garros in Paris from the 22nd of May to the 5th of June 2022.

The French Open will be followed by the Wimbledon Championships in London (27th of June 2022 to the 10th of July 2022) and then the US Open in New York (29th of August 2022 to the 11th of September 2022).
