The Pan Pacific Open is a WTA 500 tennis tournament that is played on outdoor hard courts in Tokyo, Japan.
The tournament has a long history on the WTA Tour with the inaugural event being played in 1976.
The tournament was held in Osaka in 2019 but made a return to Tokyo in 2022 after no tournaments were played in 2020 or 2021.

The 2023 Toray Pan Pacific Open tennis tournament in Tokyo will be held from the 25th of September to the 1st of October 2023.
The 2023 tournament will be played in the same week as the WTA 250 tournament in Ningbo as well as the ATP Tournaments in Nur-Sultan, Beijing, Braga, Bogota, Charleston, and Orleans.
