In April 2023, Babolat announced that they would be releasing an updated Pure Aero Rafa and a new Pure Aero Rafa Origin tennis racket that would have the same specs as the racket Rafael Nadal plays with.

The new rackets were released on the 11th of April 2023 and are now available to buy through Tennis-Point, Tennis-Warehouse, and other online tennis shops.
