The Yonex Ezone 100 and Wilson Clash 100 are rackets primarily aimed at beginner to intermediate recreational players as they both are relatively light frames that offer tennis players a good mix of power, control, and spin.

This article will help you decide which of these rackets might suit your game better and explain how the rackets differ from each other in terms of playability and racket specs.

The Ezone 100 is endorsed by Top ATP/WTA stars Casper Ruud, Belinda Bencic, Sorana Cirstea, and Marketa Vondrousova.

As the Clash 100 was designed to suit recreational tennis players rather than professional tennis players, no pros are currently endorsing the Clash 100.

Yonex Ezone 100 vs Wilson Clash 100 Comparison

For the purposes of this comparison, we will be comparing the 2022 version of the Yonex Ezone 100 (or “E100”) to the V2 of the Wilson Clash 100 (or “C100”).

Racket Specs

Starting with the similarities between the two rackets, both have a 100in head size, a racket length of 27in, and a 16×19 string pattern.

Both rackets also have very similar strung and swing weights with the E100 weighing a few grams more than the C100.

In terms of differences, the C100 is more head light than the E100 so should be easier to swing.

The C100 is a lot less stiff than the E100 so if you are worried about getting tennis elbow then the C100 is probably the better racket to go with.

In terms of power generation, both rackets will give you a medium amount of power with the C100 giving a little more help in this department.

In terms of control, neither racket excels in this department but the E100 is the better racket of the two.
