Roger Federer<\/a> and Pete Sampras<\/a> played each other once on the ATP Tour with Roger leading their H2H 1-0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first and only Federer vs Sampras<\/strong> match on the ATP Tour was in the 4th Round of the 2001 Wimbledon Championships<\/a> with Roger winning an epic five set match 7-6, 5-7, 6-4, 6-7, 7-5<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Sampras retired in 2002, Roger and Pete also played four exhibition matches with three being in Asia and one in the USA, with Roger winning three out of the four matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
