Roger Federer Grand Slam Titles List

Roger Federer won a total of 20 grand slam titles in his illustrious career including one Roland Garros, five US Opens, six Australian Opens, and eight Wimbledon Championships.

Roger Federer is also one of a small number of players to have won each of the four grand slam titles at least once in their career (the “Career Grand Slam“).

Federer’s first major tennis singles title was at the 2003 Wimbledon Championships where he beat Mark Philippoussis in the final 7-6, 6-2, 7-6, with his last grand slam win coming in Australia in 2018 when he beat Marin Cilic in five sets 6-2, 6-7, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1.

14. 2009 Roland Garros

The surprise defeat of Nadal in the 4th round of the 2009 Roland Garros gave Federer a great opportunity to win his first Roland Garros title.

However, it wasn’t plain sailing for Federer as he twice had to come from two sets down to win against Tommy Haas in the 4th round and Juan Martin del Potro in the Semi-Finals.

In the final, he beat Robin Soderling (who had beaten Nadal in the 4th round) in straight sets.
