Diriyah Tennis Cup

The Diriyah Tennis Cup is an exhibition tournament that is played on outdoor hard courts at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia.

The inaugural tournament was played in 2019 with Daniil Medvedev beating Fabio Fognini 6-2, 6-2 in the final.

No tournament was played in 2020 or 2021, but 2022 saw a return of the exhibition event with top players like Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, and Stefanos Tsitsipas playing in the event.

The 2022 tournament in Diriyah was held from the 8th to the 10th of December 2022.

The tournament was played in the same week as the WTA 125 level event in Angers, France.

Prize Money

The prize money for 2022 totaled $3,000,000, which is more than many ATP 500 tournaments.

Daniil Medvedev won the inaugural Diriyah Tennis Tournament, beating 6-2, 6-2 in the 2019 final – see highlights from their match below.
