How to Watch Tennis Online

You have a number of different options when it comes to watching tennis online including using a streaming service like Amazon Prime, the official ATP Tour service (TennisTV), or the official WTA Tour service (WTA TV).

This article will look at the best and easiest ways to watch/stream your favorite tournaments and players online in 2023.

All of the below options come with some sort of monthly fee which may not suit everyone.

However, I think the cost is well worth it as some of the free options have poor video quality and can be very unreliable.

The paid options will also be a lot more secure so I think they are worth the price.

1. Amazon Prime Video (Ireland and the UK)

Amazon Prime Tennis

If you are based in Ireland or the UK, then, in my opinion, Amazon Prime Video is your best option to stream tournaments on your laptop in 2023 as it gives you access to more than 80 tournaments from the ATP and WTA Tours including all the Masters 1000 and ATP 500 tournaments.

Amazon Prime Video also provides coverage of the Nitto ATP Finals which are held in Turin, Italy at the end of the year.

If you are already an Amazon Prime subscriber, then you don’t have to pay any extra to get access to their coverage of ATP/WTA tournaments.

If you aren’t a subscriber yet, then you can sign up for a 7 day free trial and once the free trial is over, the subscription costs €5.99 a month.

In my opinion, this is good value as you also get access to all the other content on Prime Video.

For more information on signing up, check out the Official Amazon Prime Video Website.

2. Eurosport (Europe and the UK)

Eurosport Tennis

Another good option for fans in Europe is Eurosport, which will have exclusive rights to show the Australian Open Grand Slam live across Europe.

Eurosport will also be providing coverage of the lead up events to the Australian Open including the Adelaide International Tournament.

Eurosport/Discovery has also struck a deal with the French Tennis Federation for rights to broadcast the French Open from 2022 to 2026.

The French Open was previously broadcast in the UK on one of ITV’s Free to Air channels but from 2022 this was no longer the case.

Eurosport’s On Demand Service currently costs £6.99 per month or £59.99 per year.

For more details on how to watch Eurosport live anywhere, check out the Official Eurosport website.

3. Tennis Channel (USA)

Tennis Channel

If you are based in the USA, then your best option to stream tennis online is the Tennis Channel as they currently have exclusive US television rights to all nine ATP Masters 1000 events, 13 ATP 500 Tournaments, and 16 ATP 250 tournaments, as well as the year-end Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.

You will need a Tennis Channel Plus account to watch all the matches, which currently costs $109.99/year.

For more information on how to sign up, check out the Tennis Channel website.

4. Tennis TV (International)

Tenis TV

Tennis TV is the official live video streaming service of the ATP Tour and is a good option if you live outside of Ireland and the UK as it only costs €14.99 per month or €109.99 per year.

Tennis TV gives you access to the majority of ATP events excluding the grand slams so you will be able to watch the Paris Masters, Swiss Indoors in Basel, and the Next Gen Finals using your subscription.

You also have the option of watching classic matches from the 90s and 00s in their archive.

For more information on signing up for an account, go to the official TennisTV.com website.

5. WTA TV (International)

WTA TV

WTA TV is the official streaming service of the WTA Tour and similar to TennisTV, it gives you access to a number of different WTA events held throughout the year including the WTA Finals.

A subscription to WTA TV currently costs €8.93 per month or €67.05 per year and for more details, check out the official WTA TV website.
