Andy Roddick’s first grand slam final was at the 2013 US Open where he beat Juan Carlos Ferrero 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 to claim his one and only Grand Slam title.

Roddick would go on to make it to another four grand slam finals (three Wimbledon finals and one US Open final), losing to Roger Federer in each one.

The closest he came to beating Federer was at the 2009 Wimbledon Championships where he lost 16-14 in the fifth set
