Below are the scores and results for matches played in the Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong stadiums on Day 8 of the US Open Tournament.
Arthur Ashe Stadium
The first match saw two time grand slam singles champion Petra Kvitova losing to the American Jessica Pegula in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
This was followed by an exciting match between Frances Tiafoe and Rafael Nadal where Tiafoe claimed his first win over the 23 grand slam title winner in four sets 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The first match in the night session saw Danielle Collins lose to Aryna Sabalenka in three sets 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
This will be followed by an epic 5 five set match between Marin Cilic and Carlos Alcaraz, with Alcaraz winning the match 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.
