The 2022 Laver Cup was the 5th edition of the Competition with Europe winning the first four so Team World was aiming to stop Team Europe from making it 5 in a row.
After Team Europe’s comprehensive 14-1 win in the 2021 tournament in Boston, Team World was definitely looking for revenge at the 2022 tournament in London.

If you are looking for an O2 Seating Chart then you can check out the A View From My Seat website which provides a seating chart for the O2 Arena.
Players on the winning team receive $250,000 each in prize money while players on the losing team receive $125,000 each in prize money.
This prize money is in addition to the participation fee players receive for taking part in the competition.
The participation fee is based on the player’s position in the ATP ranking.
Where to Stay?
London has an excellent transport network so there is no real need to stay right next to the O2.
However, if you are looking for a recommendation, I have listed two hotels below that I stayed in while attending the ATP Finals at the O2 in 2018 and 2019.
Both hotels will give you relatively easy access to the O2.
Budget Option – Hampton by Hilton London Docklands
The Hampton by Hilton London Docklands is a good budget option that provides easy access to the O2.
The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful when we had to print out tickets for the event.
The hotel is also a good option if you are flying into London City Airport as the hotel is a short walk away from the airport.
Luxury Option – Doubletree By Hilton London – Greenwich
The Doubletree By Hilton London at Greenwich was the hotel we stayed in for our first trip to the O2.
It took a bit longer to get to the O2 from this hotel but the room, food, and everything at the hotel was fantastic.
The only reason we didn’t return was the price but if you want to treat yourself while in London, it is well worth it.
How to get to the O2 in London
You have a number of options when it comes to getting to the O2 to watch the 2022 Laver cup but if you are like me then you will most likely take the London tube to get there with the nearest tube station to the O2 being the North Greenwich station which is a short walk from the O2.
The North Greenwich station is on the Jubilee Line and you can use the Transport For London website to plan your journey to the O2.
If you are staying at the Hampton by Hilton London Docklands Hotel and you are going to one of the day sessions then I would recommend going on the Emirates Air Line Cable Car as you will get a great view of the O2 and the London Docklands.
Assuming that you are not afraid of heights, It is a nice relaxing way to get to the O2 (see below).
How to watch the 2022 Tournament?
If you live in Ireland or the UK then the tournament will be available to stream on the Eurosport player.
For information on where to watch the tournament in other countries, I would recommend checking out the tournament’s official website.
