Semi-Finals

In the first semi-final, the pivotal match was between Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut and Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz with Bautista Agut winning a tight match 7-6, 2-6, 7-6.

Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta then had a straightforward win over Poland’s Jan Zielinski (6-2, 6-1).

However, Poland did manage to win the doubles match but this was only a consolation as Spain had already an insurmountable lead in the tie.

In the second semi-final, the singles matches were split between Canada and Russia so it all came down to the doubles match with Canada winning it in a third set tiebreak 4-6, 7-5, 10-7.
